Terms of sale

These terms apply to licenses for the Searchmaker for WooCommerce plugin sold by [Legal entity name] ([Business ID / VAT ID]), [Street, postcode, city, country].

1. The license

A license grants the right to use the licensed modules of the plugin on the domains listed at purchase, for the term you bought. Yearly licenses are subscriptions: they renew each year until you cancel, and every renewal produces a new key. A lifetime license is a one-time purchase of a perpetual key for the current major version of the plugin, including updates and support for that major version; it does not entitle you to later major versions. (Draft clause, to be reviewed before launch.) The key is a signed file verified offline by the plugin and unlocks the plugin only on the licensed domains. After a yearly term ends without renewal there is a 30-day grace period; then the licensed modules switch off. Your data is not deleted.

The plugin may not be redistributed, resold or published. You may use it on sites you operate or manage for clients, up to the number of domains purchased.

Each download is individually marked with your license identifier so that unauthorised copies can be traced: a notice in the source code, an identifier in the library and its index files, and a pattern in the code layout. The marks do not change how the plugin works and nothing is sent to us. (Draft clause, to be reviewed before launch.)

2. Open data

The Searchmaker Language Packs are licensed separately under CC BY 4.0 and are not covered by the plugin license.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euro excluding VAT. VAT is added where applicable. Payment is processed by Stripe at checkout. An invoice and receipt are sent by e-mail.

4. Money-back guarantee

You may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase, for any reason. Write to hello@searchmaker.io. This does not limit your statutory rights.

5. Support and updates

Support is provided by e-mail. Updates are available during the license term.

6. Warranty and liability

The plugin is provided as described on this website. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the price paid for the license. Performance figures on this website are measurements under stated conditions and not a guarantee for your environment.
